- REPAIR FUEL INJECTOR WIRING
- FOUND: visually inspected vehicle and found no obvious concerns. Scanned vehicle with factory compatible scan tool and retrieved P0301 – cylinder 1 misfire. Used and inductive amperage pickup to determine if the ignition coil was operating. The inductive pickup indicated the ignition coil was operating normally. Removed the air filter housing and air intake hose and saw that the wiring harness was damaged underneath the air intake hose going to fuel injector #1. Removed damaged wiring loom and wiring, installed new wiring between the harness and fuel injector and cleared codes. Vehicle now runs normally.
